the reformer

Project: Logo Identity
Platform: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AE
Year: 2024

The premise of this project was to create a logo based on enneagram personality types. I tested as a type 1, also known as the Reformer, the perfectionist type. I conceived the identity of a swan due to Natalie Portman’s character in The Black Swan being a classical type 1, someone who is so obsessed with perfectionism that it turns unhealthy. The Reformer logo also incorporates the letter “R” into the silhouette of the swan, and is accompanied by refined, pearlescent colors, as type 1’s are usually associated with earthly, light colors. Regal typography with just enough structure was carefully chosen to complement the logotype. I used elements of the swan’s wing to create a complementary pattern.
