Project: Recipe Zine Platform: Procreate, Adobe InDesign Year: 2023 The premise of this project was to create a recipe zine of our choosing. I wanted to emulate a nostalgic zine filled with recipes from famous literary works. Each spread was illustrated in Procreate and then imported to InDesign where text and titles were added. Font combinations for titles were planned out beforehand. The body copy, however, is the same serif font, to bring in continuity and to reference classical literature. The zine’s artwork bears a hand-made feel, despite being digitally created. This project taught me functions of InDesign, printing and formatting booklets, and binding.
